This replacement bumper is an authentic component which is specially designed for use with Bostitch staplers and nailers. It is a genuine item that is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer. The purpose of this bumper is to keep the piston from hitting the bottom of the cylinder and damaging it. Over time this part may crack and fall apart requiring replacement, please note this high-quality rubber bumper is sold individually.
