This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with Bostitch finishing nailers. This nose cap also know as a contact foot or a no mar pad is attached to end of the safety element to prevent the material from dented by the pushing lever. Most people tent to keep a few extra on hand because these pads do have a tendency to get lost or crack over time. It is made out of durable plastic and it is sold individually. To replace this item you do not need any tools.
