This is an authentic OEM part. The Bostitch o-ring (.145X.070 cp) is made for use with several nailer devices. The plastic o-ring is fitted onto the complete nose assembly, providing protection from friction between components. The o-ring is sold individually. A hex key and a screwdriver are helpful for the installation.
