This is an authentic Fein replacement part manufactured for use with oscillating multi-tools. The carbon brush is used to relay electricity from the switch to the motors armature. The brush presses against the armature as the armature spins and therefore the brush will wear out over time. This brush includes the lead wire and is sold individually.
