Repair to the multi-tool was quite simple. I took out the screws that hold the body together, pulled out the motor took the screws out of the brushes.

I got the tool home thinking it was just missing the power cord and found that someone also took the brushes and was missing a screw so i purchased the missing parts and installed them.
I removed the 3 screws from the body of the tool. opened it and inserted the brushes and plugged in the wires. secured them in with the Torx Oval-H
