Blender fell tearing the cord from the inside of the mixer.

Remove access cover with one screw, top of mixer. Remove defective cord, you will have to remove one harness with ohillips head screw driver. Remove to other two wires that have push connectors (with same colored wires.) Once you have replaced the three wires push the rubber seal back and replace access cover and you are done.

1. Remove the cover.
2. Unplug the old cord.
3. Plunge in the new cord.
4. Replace the cover.

Simply removed cord cover from rear of KitchenAid mixer, removed the burned cord and replaced with the new cord and replaced the cord cover very, straight forward.
