This part is the replacement motor shaft seal for your stand mixer. It is black in color and is approximately ½ inch in diameter. The motor shaft seal creates a seal between the shaft of the motor and the transmission housing. It helps to keep grease from seeping out from around the motor shaft. If you notice grease leaking past the motor shaft seal, then it will need to be replaced. This part is sold individually and is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
