1. Removed motor housing from the planetary housing (there\'s a great YouTube video from eReplacement showing step-by-step how to do this for repairing a stripped gear).
2. Unscrewed the hold-down for the lever.
3. Unscrewed the pivot for the clamp.
4. Removed the damaged assembly (lever, link, clap).
5. Installed the new assembly, screwed in place.
6. Reassembled the motor housing to the planetary housing.
