This part is an OEM sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in miter saw utility vehicles made by Ridgid. The lock lever goes between the block and the lock lever housing. It is made of plastic and will need replacing if it breaks. During the installation process, a set of pliers and a screwdriver may be needed to replace this part. Keep in mind this part is sold individually.
Disassemble locking lever components using both Phillips screwdriver and pliers for bolt.
Keep fasteners.
Rotate stand arm to completely remove it from stand. Pull plastic collet off end so that new locking lever housing can slide onto arm. Put plastic collet back
... Read more on end of arm in same position. Slide stand arm back in, rotating it into position.
Bolt the locking lever in between the two sides of the housing, then insert the remaining screws to tighten both sides together.
Remo ed the extension arms on both sides and replaced lock lever housings, end caps, lock levers and camshaft. Replaced the frame lock return spring as the old one was missing.
