This is an authentic Ridgid replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with compound miter saws. The metal key is used to link the pulley/gear to the shaft. The key fits into the slot on the shaft and aligns with the keyway in the pulley and gear. This key is available as an individual replacement part, please note two keys are required.
