Had to use a similar flange from a similar saw because the original part is no longer available from craftsman or any aftermarket source. The flange I bought was missing a ridge on the side that faces away from the saw blade. I was able to find a couple of washer shims that allowed me to use the replacement flange. ... Read more be okay but only time will tell. This saw is not very old and looks like a new one but craftsman, which used to be a reputable brand, has discontinued it and parts are no longer available. I have bought a lot of craftsman tools in my lifetime of 73 years but I will never buy another.
