1. Removed saw blade. Difficult because have muscle deterioration disease & thought bolt stuck. ereplacements video reminded me bolt turns clockwise/reverse thread, very helpful! Cleaned blade.
2. Watched video on cord replacement. Removed motor housing & handle, stripped wires on new cord, replaced cord in handle & attached to swit

3. Cleaned out dirty grease on helical gear, applied new grease, reattached motor & handle.
4 Reinstalled blade.
5. Cleaned saw all over, oiled some parts.
6. Replaced rusty leaf spring clip to hold wrench.
7. Instead of reattaching cord-retaining strain relief clips, (too tight,) attached small leather strips there to hold cord in place.
8. NOTE: various blade cleaners dissolved teflon coating on Forrest blade, left sticky mess. Next time clean more often w strong soap & water.
