This genuine OEM sourced replacement armature which is specially designed for use with Hitachi slide compound saws. The armature is the center component of an electric motor, over time it may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement. This is a complete assembly which includes the armature, the plastic fan, the armature bearing and the commutator end bearing. It is highly recommended to replace both carbon brushes when replacing an armature. Please note this high-quality assembly is sold individually.
