This is a genuine OEM replacement belt used on Hitachi miter saws. This belt drives the saw blade. This item is made out of rubber and it is sold individually. You would need a screwdriver to complete a repair. • Remove the belt cover • Replace the old belt with the new one • Secure the housing When connecting the belt on pulleys, first connect 2 or 3 teeth of belt to the grooves of both pulley. Then turning the pulleys connect all teeth of the belt to the pulleys.
