This is a Genuine OEM replacement part used on Hitachi Compound Saws. This part is Green in color and it is sold individually. Screws that attach this part are sold separately. Table Saw Inserts reduce splintering and chip-out on the cuts. It also prevents thin slices of wood from jamming in between the blade and the plate during a cut. If an insert is missing or damaged it needs to be replaced.
