It is an authentic OEM sourced item which is specially produced for use with DeWALT saws. The lever attaches to the actuator and is made of plastic. During the installation process, a screwdriver and a set of pliers might be needed to replace this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced. This is available as an individual replacement part.
