Product Description
?This is an original manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with Dewalt compound miter saws. It allows you to lift and lower the saw. This item is made out of plastic and it is sold individually. Includes both sides of the handle. Please note the screws used to attach it and the carrying handle are sold separately. You would need a screwdriver for this repair • First you would remove the screws from carrying handle and remove it • Then, remove the screws in the top handle half and remove it • Remove the switch from the bottom half of the handle • Remove the cord clamp that is held in by two (2) screws. • Remove the bottom handle half from the saw by removing the screws holding it to housing • Attach the new handle following the previous steps in reverse

2- removed all old screws and mapped them out to what spots they went to. Make sure you make note of where they come from. There are 7 different screws to do this. Used a #15 star bit.

5- route all wires from the saw through the base of new handle
6-place power cord at back and reconnect the trigger assembly and route all wires according to the picture or wire diagram
7- screw it all back together using the map you made of where the screws go-note: screw handle to saw first before screwing the handle together
