This part is made of metal with a plastic internal insert to prevent inadvertent loosening, and it is used in securing the plate that holds the lower guard. Please be aware that there are different nuts used in the machine. Refer to the parts diagram to be sure of ordering the correct part. You will require a wrench when replacing this item. The stop nut is available as an individual replacement part.
