Fist remove the nut, blade, and washers. Next remove the four screws holding the motor case to the blade guard. Once this has been done you should be able to remove the motor from the rest of the saw. ... Read more are replacing the bearings on the armature as well, you will need to remove the brushes first then pull out the Armature and remove the bearings once the armature is out of the motor. You will also want to put the new bearings on before putting the Armature back in the motor case. At this point you would then put the jack shaft back in place and proceed to re assemble the unit.
