Thermostat quit working.

2. Drill out the two bottom rivets of the two hole straps holding thermocouple.
3. Drill out 1 rivet on the clamp on thermocouple where it goes through the cabinet.
4. Pry up the bottom of the two straps (just enough to release) holding thermocouple.
5. Remove two wires on the bac ... Read more k of thermostat by gently pulling with needle nose pliers.
6. Remove knob by pulling straight out.
7. Remove 2 Phillips screws holding thermostat in.
8. Reverse procedure to install taking care not to kink thermocouple tubing.
Older table top convection oven was over heating and the temperature would not lower

Removed the old thermostat.
Installed the replacement thermostat (easy two wires).
Put the cover back in place.
