Took apart bottom of clipper, cleaned up with nail brush, took photo of original connection then replaced.

Cord was thread bare

Unscrewed the end. Vacuumed the hair out. Unscrewed the old cord. Pulled the new cord into place. Screwed it in. Screwed the end on. Voila. Good as new.

Damaged cord

Certified that the clipper was unplugged
Removed the cord cover
Removed the nuts to remove the cord connection
Cleaned the connection posts
Fed the new cord through the cord cover
Placed the new cord connectors to the posts
Started the connection hold down nuts
Tightened the nuts
Replaced th e cord cover
Placed the cover screws and tightened.
Plugged in the clipper/tested

Switch and cord broke from being dropped.

Removed switch cover nut with pliers and cover plate with small phillips screwdriver, took a few pics for reference of wire placement. Removed two screws that held wires and removed switch and cord. Reversed that process and repair was finished. Replaced brush and spring assemblies and lubed clippers while on repair bench. Very simple rep air and saved around $100 plus downtime.

Switch was broken and cord was frawed

Just two screws needed to be removed to expose the cord attachment area and the switch. Two more screws and the switch was easily replaced. Total time was less then a half hour

The switch had broken off at the stem. The cord was also showing signs of fraying.

Unscrewed the bottom of the clippers,removed the power cord and unscrewed what was left of the original switch. I then reassembled the parts according to the photo I had taken before I started. The most difficult part was removing the the rubber stopper that held the power cord in place. Other than that it was an easy repair. My clippers are like new again.
