This is an authentic Makita replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The gasket is constructed of a cardboard composite material, and is compatible with several power cutter models. The gasket is secured between the crankcase and crankshaft as a protective seal from moisture and wear. This component is sold individually, and will require a screwdriver to make the removal and replacement.
