Had to purchase 2 fittings . Control lever was in a different position.

Had to go purchase two fittings and use pipe tape to seal it . With handle in different position, had to change using the splitter.

OEM fittings are 1/2\" but the control valve received are 3/4\". Also, the control lever is 90 degrees off from the original direction. This posed no real repair problem; we just had to get used to

Control Valve for Troy Bilt 27 Ton log splitter (Part no. MTD-918-0481A):

In order to complete the repair I had to replace the hoses that have 1/2\" fittings to new hoses with 3/4\" fittings. Two hoses and a new 3/4\" elbow later ($135) the log splitter was repaired.
