This is a genuine Coleman replacement globe made for lantern models 5177 and 5178. This is a newer-style globe made of transparent glass. To decrease the chances of breaking this part, the manufacturer recommends using a hard or soft protective carry case when transporting or storing your lantern. This globe is sold individually. To Replace This Part: • Unscrew the Ball Nut (Part Number: 220-4411) located at the very top of the lantern; it should be possible to remove this part just by hand, without any tools • Lift the Ventilator Lid (Part Number: 5178-4801) to remove it • Lift the old globe to remove it; set the new globe into place • Replace the Ventilator Lid and Ball Nut
