By attaching the replacement bag onto the leaf vacuum. The only problem is the stap attaches to the bag is shorter than the original. These item are sized for average height, but I am taller than the stap extension goes.

Chiseled old mounting ring off blower. It was impossible to remove. The new one makes emptying bag simple because it can be removed and re-installed easily.
