The purpose of this filter is to prevent dust and other debris from contaminating engine. Over time the filter will get dirty and clogged which can restrict the airflow which will result in the loss of power. Inspect the filter periodically and replace it as needed to maintain top performance. This durable item is made of high-quality pleated paper in a plastic frame and it is sold individually, please note the foam pre-filter is sold separately.
