This is an original Shindaiwa replacement part directly sourced from the manufacturer. The ignition switch w/throttle cable consists of metal wiring encased in protective plastic. This item is designed to act as a kill switch to the device, and is compatible with several backpack power blowers. This part is sold individually, but is also included in the tube mount throttle kit. A screwdriver is needed to make the removal and repair.
