Need help finding your model number?This is an authentic Shindaiwa replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with backpack blowers. The piston ring is used with the engine oil to form a seal between the piston and the cylinder wall. The seal separates the combustion chamber and the crankcase. Damage to the piston ring or cylinder can cause a loss of compression and can shut down the engine. This piston ring is sold as an individual replacement part.
