This replacement component is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Ryobi backpack blowers and vacuums. It is the special gasket that helps to provide an air-tight seal for the exhaust assembly, over time it may wear out and begin to crack eventually requiring a replacement. Please note this high-quality composite material gasket is sold individually.
Not a seriously difficult project but requires some level of experience dong this sort of repair but not too bad.
Job would have been done in a little over an hour but found one of the mounting screw holes had not been tapped so that added some time. required a metric thread tap set.

My only warning would be to make sure the shaft is centered on the magneto. There is a little wiggle room with the motor mounts so if not centered the flywheel could strike the pickup coils.
