1. Removed spark plug
2. Checked compression
3. Cracked the case.
4. Ordered parts waited.
5. Parts arrived, disaster. The cylinder kit has holes but no threads to mount carb adapter and muffler. Website says Poulans problem they didn\'t tap the holes. Poulan says Websites problem they sold you the part. Website sa ys after spending $100.00 parts and shipping for a 40 year old blower that otherwise never gave me a problem, I should take it to a machine shop and pay them to tap the holes.
I rounded up.the taps and did it myself. After years of buying parts from the website.
I won\'t be buying anymore. The blower runs like new!
