This is authentic teal and black Makita motor housing for your blower. This plastic set of motor housing protects the engine from outside elements. Over time, this part can become bent or damaged due to impact from an object or by carelessly placing it on its side. If you notice wear or damage it will need to be replaced. You'll need to remove the screws holding it in place in order to replace.
