The switch is what turns on or off to control the ignition circuit. If your blower will not turn on, this might indicate that the switch has failed and needs to be replaced. For this repair, you will begin by removing the engine side cover and remove the screws securing the handle's side. Pull the switch away from the housing and remove the wires. Reinstall the new switch. Start by reinstalling the wires. Slide the switch back into the housing and press the wires back into their holders. Reinstall the hand cover and engine cover. This is a genuine OEM part that is sold individually.
