This black plastic and metal plug cover measures 5 x 2.54 x 0.25 Inches. It attached to the engine cover. To open the cover, place your fingers on the main handle and plug cover. Push up the projection and slide the cover in the OPEN direction. To close the cover, slide the cover in the CLOSE direction. You will hear a clicking sound under the plug cover. Push in the projection. If this part is damaged it will need to be replaced with this original Makita part.
