This is a teal plastic fan housing set of two for a blower. The function of this part is to protect the fan from the outer elements. If you notice any bends or cracks in the housing, it will need to be replaced. Before you begin this repair, start by making sure the engine has completely cooled and is off. Remove the wire and boot from the spark plug to prevent the engine from starting by accident. You will need to remove the blower tube assembly, then unthread the screws securing the blower cover. Unplug the spark plug. Check to make sure the piston is in the down position and insert a cord into the cylinder to prevent the piston from moving. Now remove the fan blade (you might need a socket wrench for this). Always check the user's manual for instructions specific to your model.
