I was just missing the extension tubes, I received two and they were just the ticket to control the air flow. It took me longer to open the package than it did to install the parts.
1. Remove three base springs that connect the blower motor to the frame; all torx head.
2. Remove fuel lines from tank.
3. Remove fuel tank from back pack.
4. Remove four plastic fasteners to release cloth back pack straps.
5. Reassemble in reverse order.
