For the cushions you have to remove the nuts so the engine can be separated from backpack frame . At that point screws can be removed that secure cushions from engine. ook engine side of switch. one wire has a connector that just pulls apart the the other is screwed to ground.Next the 2 wires can be removed through a split in the plastic conduit which attaches to control handle.In order to replace the switch the handle must be split . In order to do that the throttle lock lever must be removed (1 screw) the handle its self has a couple of screws which allow it to split . At this point it can be reassembled.

Backpack blower retainer cushions all broke and straps old and torn fuel lines old and brittle ignition switch on off button missing.

1. First I disassembled the ignition switch, the only tool needed was a screwdriver to remove the screws in handle once screws are out separated the handle which opens up down the middle into 2 pieces.
2. Removed switch and all wires from handle and plastic protective tubing that runs to the back of blower.
3. Installed new s ... Read more witch and wiring in reverse fashion, fairly easy, the hardest part was running wires back in protective plastic tubing because you don\'t want excessive wires in the handle you want just the right amount of wiring needed in handle that way wires don\'t get pinched.
1. Next I replaced the 3 retainer cushions that hold the blower onto the backpack. Removed all broken cushions with screw driver on blower and screwdriver and nutdriver for the backpack portion.
2. Screwed new cushions onto blower portion, then put blower new cushion threads through backpack mounting holes, used nutdriver to thread nuts onto backpack. Very easy repair.
1.Next I replaced backpack straps screwdriver and nutdriver were the only tools I needed removed old straps and replaced with new ones in reverse fashion, very easy

Next I replaced both fuel line running from carb to fuel tank using a screwdriver had to loosen the carb up to gain access to install new lines, old fuel lines just pull right off if they are a little sticky, a flathead screwdriver or plyers should help remove them, new fuel lines just press right on to carb and fuel tank.
2. There also is a plastic protective twine around fuel lines just untwine from old lines and rewind around new lines. Fairly easy
