This is an authentic Echo replacement part manufactured for use with backpack blowers. The metal rewind spring is used to retract the starter rope after it was been pulled. The spring fits inside the starter housing and is connected to the starter drum. This rewind spring is sold individually and is included with the starter/pawl set, part number A050000330.
