It is an authentic item that is supplied by original equipment manufacturer for use with Echo backpack blowers. This is the oil seal for the crankshaft, for correct location and use of this item make sure to check appropriate diagrams of your equipment. If you have noticed any leakage from the crankcase (past the seals or along the crankshaft), the oil seals are likely to blame, and they should be replaced. The seals should also be replaced any time they are removed from the crankshaft (during related maintenance). It is made from durable rubber and it is sold individually. Note: Some versions of the PB-4600 may use part #10021302830 as the second seal for the crankshaft
