This recoil starter assembly is an authentic OEM sourced item, not an aftermarket imitation. It is a high quality item designed for Echo backpack blowers. This is the starter assembly that allows user to pull-start the engine. It includes a plastic shroud, starter pulley, starter spring, grip and the pull rope. Please note, the hardware used to secure it is sold separately. To complete this repair you would need a hex key also known as an allen wrench.

Removed the assembly from the blower. The spring sprung so I ordered the whole assembly and installed the new one in less than 5 minutes. I only had to the screw the new assembly on!

Found a universal replacement for my Echo blower on your website and replaced the old rope starter assembly. Now it works like new!
