Need help finding your model number?This is a genuine MTD, Yard-Man, Troy-Bilt and Yard Machines for use with Lawn Tractors. The choke control cable connects the choke control knob on the dashboard to the choke plate on the carburetor. The choke control allows a richer fuel mix in the carburetor, making cold-starting the lawn tractor easier. The most common reason for replacing the choke control cable is if it is stretched or broken. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the choke control cable is a screwdriver and a socket set.
