This part is an OEM from MTD, Troy-Bilt, and Yard-Man for use with Lawn Tractors and Lawn Mowers. The Deflector shield covers the discharge port on the mower deck and directs the grass clippings away from the deck. The most common reason for replacing the chute is if it is broken. This part is sold individually. There are no tools needed to replace the discharge chute.
