1. Remove pins securing cable to deck and lift handle
2. Remove pulley guide
3. Thread new cable into place with proper orientation
4. Replace pulley guide
5. Attach new cable to deck and lift handle with pins

If placing the new cable connectors proves to be a tight fit, you can loosen but not rem ove a couple of bolts on the frame near the lift mechanism to gain a few more mm of clearance.

All in all, a simple repair.
