?These are authentic replacement parts that are supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Murray and Simplicity lawn and garden tractors. This is the ignition switch which is connected to an electric starter motor allowing a user to start the engine with a simple turn of a key. There are multiple reasons a switch could fail, main problems would include either mechanical or electrical issues eventually requiring a replacement. It is a complete assembly which includes the metal body switch, a pair of keys and the hardware to secure the switch.
