The shoulder spacer attaches to the deck brake assembly with the hex cap screw and is priced individually. It is made out of metal and will require replacement if it breaks. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer and used in lawn tractors made by Troy-Bilt, Yard Machines, MTD, Bolens, and Yard Man. A wrench set and a socket set may be needed during the installation of the spacer.
