Murry Drive Pully
Part came quickly, fit correctly, was good quality. Was not an easy repair, but that was fault of manufacturer, not the replacement part.

Worked as expected
Original Drive Pulley was worn out & beginning to wobble a bit, but after 23 years of service....what would you expect! New pulley works fine and I'm back to mowing again.

Shipping seemed high for the weight
I have bought many items from e-replacement parts. the shipping seemed fair. this pulley didn't seem to be very heavy to warrant such a fee. the repair was successful and complicated. The trans axle had to come out in order to route the belt. three against a thousand---the toughest three ever fought.

After wasting time trying to put the belt back on the transaxle pulley I realized the pulley was trashed (the center hole was completely wallowed out) and I was missing the snap ring that holds the pulley at the proper height. I dropped the mower deck, jacked up the rear end placing jack stands under the mower and pulled off the rear whe

The belt was in great shape so I stayed with it. I bought a new pulley for the clutch and replaced it at the same time. While my pulley was ok I figured since it was only a little more than 10 bucks I\'d change it out and I hope to be done with a future repair as the machine is 14 years old. Special instructions would be \"you have to hold the clutch/brake pedal down while placing the drive belt\" and don\'t forget to loosen those two rods that are supposed to keep the belt from coming off the drive pulley. They will keep you from putting a belt on if not slackened and moved away for placement.

Some how the collar on the pulley got damaged destroying the keyway. I had to replace both items to get the lawnmower to stop making noises
The transmission had to be removed from the lawn mower, it was easy only 4 small screws held it to the frame. The pulley was held on the shaft by a snap ring.
The drive pulley I ordered for my old hand me down Murray riding lawn mower was a perfect fit . It was a certified Briggs and Stratton part. Which Murray has been out of business for years so when i called around I was told Murray parts have been discontinued. The other review for this part said only 4 bolts to drop the transmission and m

I broke one old rusty bolt and the pulley snap ring and shaft had become one with rust...due to the fact it sat outside for 5 years. I had to cut the pulley into quarters like a pie with a grinder cutting wheel to remove from shaft. I created a snap ring using a zinc washer. The good news was that the pulley fit perfectly snug and the mower is running smoothly now with new drive pulley and belt. !!!! I couldn\'t be more satisfied...35 dollars total ( included shipping) I hope your machine isn\'t as rusty as mine good luck !
Drop rear end, removed retaining ring, removed old pulley put e-ring in place put on new pulley put new retaining ring reinstalled rear end and drive belt.
