Spindle shaft broke at the hex flange nut (secures the blade to the spindle)

Parts Used:
938-04241, 923-0448A, 712-0417A
1. Removed the deck from the tractor by removing three cotter keys and pins (lift mechanism for raising and lowering the deck).
2. Remove blades (must secure blade with wooden block), remove spindles from deck, remove pulleys from spindles, drive out spindle shafts being careful to note placement of washers and spacers.
3. Pac ked spindle housing with grease using a finger.
4. Install new spindle shafts and wipe away excess grease.
5. Use reverse order to complete the job.

Replaced the bearings.
Also ordered a new shaft, but it turned out to be a 1/4 inch too short, so I ended up using the old shaft.
