I raised the rear of the mower up removed right rear wheel so, I can get to the broken lift cable. Removed 2 cotter keys removed broken lift cable installed new cable, and put in cotter keys. Put the wheel back on, and let the mower down.

Steering shaft shaft and pinion gear plus worn out upper drive belt
Drive belt pulley was the hardest . You have drop the engine pulley off the engine shaft and fan on top of the rear hydrostatic drive . Its especially essential to have a hammer drill to do that . 10 gauge deck, heavy, would not lift all the way up.
