This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with lawn tractors. Overtime mower belts can stretch, crack, or just break requiring the belt to be replaced. A worn or broken belt will cause the blades to intermittently spin or prevent the blades from turning at all. This belt is sold as an individual replacement part.

Bolted in the idler and the belt guide. Put the belt on, and replaced the belt guard.

It was necessary to remove the drive pulley from the engine to install the belts due to lack of room to squeeze the belts on. Once the belts were installed I discovered what caused the belt to shred, the centrifugal clutch pulley was broken. I had to order the pulley to complete the repair.
When removed I found the clutch pull had n o tension and was flopping loosely. Since the clutch was broken when applying the blade the belt was slipping and the mower had no power.
