The idler bracket attaches the idler pulley to the deck and pivots to apply tension the blade belt. This part is made of metal and is sold individually. For installation, you will need a screwdriver to remove any covers or shrouds and a socket wrench to aid you.

Idler pulley bracket broke

It was pretty self explanatory. I took the bolt out of the deck, took the pulley and pulley brake off the old bracket and reinstalled them on the new bracket, then put it back on the mower deck.

The one thing that I recommend is make sure the belt guide is put back on correctly to eliminate having to get back under the mower to reset it in the correct position.

Also, make sure that you put any springs back on, because those jokers are hard to maneuver once everything is back together.

Stripped down deck, replaced all parts, pulleys, spindles, blades, guards, guides, belt, brakes, drilled an retapped belt guard holes. All parts from ereplacementparts worked perfect. Thank you
