Remove the steering wheel cap, bolt and washer. Then removed the old steering wheel. Installed the new one in reverse order

Started out removing steering shaft then the gear assembly and retainer plate then put the new parts back same order that was removed ending with greasing all parts fit perfect steers like new again

Removed the center cap with a screwdriver. Used a half inch socket and a ratchet took out the bolt Removed the broken steering wheel(well what was left). Made sure wheels on mower were straight positioned new steering wheel on mower, tightened the half inch bolt down, popped the center cap back on. Less than 15 minute repair. Now I have n ... There was one bolt. The steering wheel came off easily and the one bolt was all that was needed. I snapped on the logo cap and that was it.
